Payment methods and billing

Adding a Payment Method

To add a card to your Squarepaste account:

1. Log in to your Squarepaste dashboard
2. Go to Settings → Plan & Billing
3. Under Payment method, click "Add payment method"
4. Enter your card in the Stripe page that opens
5. Save the card

Squarepaste accepts major credit cards and debit cards. The "Add payment method" button only appears when no card is saved yet.

Changing or Removing a Card

To change or remove a card:

1. Go to Settings → Plan & Billing
2. Click "Manage" next to Current plan
3. Stripe's billing portal opens in a new tab
4. Add a new card, make it the default, or remove the old one

Your updated card will be used for all future billing cycles.

Important: You must have at least one card on file if you have an active subscription. If you want to cancel, you can do so from Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage.

Billing Cycles

Squarepaste plans are billed monthly or annually:

• Monthly: you pay $19, $39 or $99 a month for Link, Connect or Atlas, on the same day each month that you started.
• Annual: you pay $168, $348 or $888 once a year for Link, Connect or Atlas, on the same day each year that you started. That works out about a quarter cheaper than paying monthly.
• Your plan renews on its own until you cancel it.

You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from Settings → Plan & Billing, under "Billing period". Your card stays as it is, and Stripe credits the time you have already paid for against the new billing period.

Invoices and Receipts

All billing transactions are automatically recorded:

• Invoices are generated automatically for each billing cycle
• Your invoices are in Stripe's billing portal. Open it from Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage
• You can view and download each invoice there

Payment Processing

Squarepaste uses secure payment processing:

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Your card details are never stored on Squarepaste servers
• Payments are encrypted and PCI compliant
• Failed payments will be retried automatically

Tip: If a payment fails, you'll see a notice in your dashboard. Update your card promptly to avoid service interruption.
