Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of squarepaste.com (the “Site”) and the products and services offered by Squarepaste (“Squarepaste,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site, purchasing a plugin, purchasing a template, or engaging us for custom work, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

Squarepaste offers three categories of products and services:

• Plugins: JavaScript and CSS code snippets that extend or customize a Squarespace website. Plugins are licensed for use on a single Squarespace site identified at purchase.
• Templates: Pre-built Squarespace website templates delivered by inviting your email as Administrator on a duplicated Squarespace site, then transferring ownership to you upon your acceptance.
• Custom Services: Design, development, and management work scoped on a project-by-project basis through our intake form at /custom-website or by email.

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) and are subject to applicable sales tax. Promotional discounts, when offered, are applied at checkout and are non-transferable. Repeated chargebacks or fraudulent payment attempts may result in termination of access to our services.

Upon successful payment, Squarepaste grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the purchased plugin code on a single Squarespace site (the “Licensed Site”). The license covers the Licensed Site, including any staging or development copies you maintain for that same site.

You may not:

• Use the plugin on a site other than the Licensed Site.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the plugin code.
• Remove or obscure any attribution comment included in the plugin source.
• Use the plugin to build competing products for resale.

Migrating the Licensed Site to a new URL or domain does not require any action from us. If you need help, contact info@squarepaste.com.

Templates are fulfilled manually. After a successful template purchase, we duplicate the template within Squarespace, invite the email you used at checkout as an Administrator, and transfer Owner permissions to you once you accept the invitation. Typical fulfillment is within one business day. You become the Squarespace site owner upon acceptance and are then subject to Squarespace, Inc.’s own Terms of Service.

Squarepaste retains ownership of the underlying template design and structure. You receive a license to use, customize, and operate the delivered site for your own business; you may not resell, redistribute, or license the template design to third parties.

Because plugins and templates are digital products delivered immediately or within one business day, all sales are final once delivery has begun (i.e., once a plugin download is provided or a Squarespace invitation is sent). If a product is materially broken on arrival or differs significantly from its description, contact info@squarepaste.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work in good faith to resolve the issue or refund.

Custom service engagements are subject to the refund and payment milestone terms specified in the individual project agreement.

The Site and all content on it, including but not limited to text, code, graphics, logos, images, video, and the structure of Squarepaste plugins and templates, are owned by Squarepaste or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. The Squarepaste name and logo are trademarks of Squarepaste. “Squarespace” is a registered trademark of Squarespace, Inc.; Squarepaste is independent of and not affiliated with Squarespace, Inc.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
• Use our products in ways that violate applicable law.
• Probe, scan, or test the Site’s vulnerabilities without consent.
• Interfere with the Site’s operation or other users’ access.

Our products integrate with third-party services including Squarespace (hosting and template platform) and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Squarepaste is not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes originating with third parties.

THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Squarepaste does not warrant that the products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all current or future Squarespace versions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squarepaste’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our products and services is limited to the amount you paid Squarepaste in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event will Squarepaste be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost revenue or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Squarepaste and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or our products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or revoke a license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the affected products ends; sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page indicates the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our products after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
